Monarch is a polished budgeting app with automatic sync to a large list of banks, a mode for couples, and apps on the web, iOS and Android. It has a Canada page, and it bills in US dollars.
Copilot is a design-led budgeting app for Apple devices and the web, with automatic account tracking. It has no Android app.
Rocket Money is a United States-focused app known for finding and cancelling subscriptions and negotiating bills, with automatic bank sync. Tally does none of that: it is a budget and currency tool that reads statement files and never connects to your bank.
Actual Budget is free, open source and local-first: your data lives on your own machine, with optional self-hosted sync. It imports files like Tally does, and offers optional bank sync.
Toshl is a long-running expense tracker with a free plan, file import and optional bank sync aimed mainly at Europe. It is the closest rival to Tally's multi-currency story.
Where a company's site does not say something, these pages say "not stated on their site" and do not guess. Tally is still in development, with no public sign-up and no price yet.
